ON THE ORGANIZATION OF PUBLIC AUTHORITY IN THE FEDERAL TERRITORY «SIRIUS»

Abstract

The article focuses on the federal territory «Sirius» formed in accordance with Part 1 of Article 67 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. It is noted that the federal territory «Sirius» does not have the status of a subject of the Russian Federation. Federal Law No. 437 «On the federal territory of «Sirius» established the goals of its creation, the specifics of the implementation of economic and other economic activities, as well as the specifics of the organization of public power in the federal territory. The features of the organization of local self-government, which are expressed in the forms of participation of citizens and in the powers of public authorities to resolve issues of local importance, have been marked.
